# My Tasks

**My Tasks** is a cross-organization view that shows every task assigned to you, regardless of which organization it belongs to. If you are a member of multiple organizations, all your assigned tasks appear together in a single list.

## Accessing My Tasks

Click **My Tasks** in the left sidebar. This view is always scoped to you — it never shows tasks assigned to other people.

## What Appears Here

My Tasks shows every task where you are listed as an assignee. Tasks appear from all organizations you are a member of.

Each task card shows the organization it belongs to alongside the usual task details (title, status, priority, labels).

## Filtering

Use the filter toolbar at the top of the page to narrow down your tasks:

- **Status**: Show only tasks in specific statuses (e.g., In Progress, Todo)
- **Priority**: Focus on Urgent or High priority items
- **Labels**: Filter to tasks with specific labels
- **Category**: Show tasks in a particular category

Filters can be combined — for example, show all In Progress, High Priority tasks across all your organizations.

## Views and Grouping

My Tasks supports the same view modes and grouping options as the organization task list:

- **List or Kanban** — Switch view modes from the View dropdown
- **Group by** — Organize by status, priority, assignee, or category
- **Sub-group by** — Add a second level of grouping
- **Show completed** — Toggle whether Done and Canceled tasks are included

See [Task Views](https://sayr.io/docs/organize/views) for full details on view configuration.

## Real-Time Updates

My Tasks updates in real time. When a colleague assigns a task to you or changes the status of one of your tasks, the change appears immediately without refreshing the page.

## Relationship to Organization Task Lists

My Tasks is a filtered view of your assignments — it doesn't replace the organization task list. Changes made to a task in My Tasks (updating status, priority, etc.) are reflected in the organization's task list and vice versa.
